The boys continue to do well overall. Their IVs remain out and they are tolerating their feeds for the most part. They seem to take turns with their "bad days" and Zachary and Konrad seem to have the most feeding issues and possibly have reflux but we are waiting and watching to be sure. Michael has been having problems with apnea (not breathing) and bradycardia (heart slowing down) over the past few days and Konrad sometimes has some issues with fast breathing and low oxygen but both boys are not doing these things all of the time. The doctors are watching and waiting with these issues as well before they put them on caffeine or something like that to prevent it. All three boys are showing signs of sucking and Mike and I got to nipple feed them with bottles for the first time tonight. They all did pretty well and ate around 3cc each which is not even a teaspoon. Michael has the best suck but he doesn't breathe while eating. Konrad and Zachary have very wimpy sucks but they breathe. The nurses tell us that they will pick up over the next week or so and that right now they are still early at this because they are just 32 weeks. We are patient parents so we can wait :) All of the boys will probably be out of the incubators and in cribs by early next week because they are doing quite a good job of maintaining their temperatures inside the incubators so that will be an exciting graduation when it happens. We are very proud of each little step they take!
