5 months old and yeah, I've got my hands full

The babies were 5 months old yesterday. I can't believe that time is going by so quickly. They are only 12 weeks adjusted age but in some ways they are on time and in others they are behind. Little Mike is proving to be the most physically advanced baby and he can push up on his hands when he is on his belly and roll over to his back. He also kicks and kicks so much on the playmat that he travels across the floor! Konrad is still a bit like gumby in that he doesn't like to put pressure on his legs much and he still balls up when you hold him. He is the most like a 12 week old, but he smiles and coos and plays on the floor mat like his brothers, he just doesn't have the muscles strength or head control like the other two do. Zachary is a very strong little guy, although he is a bit tense most of the time. He stands really well when you hold him up and he likes to kick and play like his brothers do. He doesn't like to be on his belly that much but when he is he can lift his head, but not for as long as Mike. Little Mike has one tooth through and another coming in but his brothers don't seem to have any teeth coming in the near future. They have all completely stopped following our beautiful three hour schedule and we are trying to find a new pattern as a group right now. Mike and Zach seem to have the same rhythm throughout the day but Konrad marches to his own tune and eats to it too! Hopefully we will find a new schedule soon because as things stand now I have one baby awake and making noise at all times which means that in order to get anything at all done I have to have a baby crying in the background...talk about speed eating, laundry and dishes-I am fast-and of course pumping is a real joy because it is 20-30 minutes of crying babies..not exactly a relaxing experience when I am home by myself. These "hands full" trials aside, I am very proud and pleased to be a mommy of these beautiful boys and each new thing they do is amazing and wonderful for me and Mike to see. We are so excited to see them recognize each other and grab for things and roll over and we are looking forward to seeing them do so much more.
